Heartfelt Impressions is actively interviewing for a Lead Summer Camp Teacher for the PreK class at for our Rochester campus. The schedule of events is posted on our website and will be jam packed with activities to make the camp a memorable experience for all who participate.
Camp begins June 9 and runs through August 28. Orientation and team building for all sites will be held at our Lake Orion campus on the following Saturdays in May: 5/3, 5/17, 5/31. This is a paid orientation, and you must attend all dates.

Essential functions of the Summer Camp Teacher are…
-Ensures overall safety of children in assigned age group
-Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
-Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
-Attend company/school meetings
-Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
-Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
-Physically able to lift 15 pounds

Shift Details/Pay Rate:
- Number of Positions: 1
- Status: Full-time Seasonal
- Schedule: Days - Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8am-5pm
- Pay Range: $13-$19 per hour (depending on education/certifications and experience)
Requirements:
- Background Check (conducted by Heartfelt Impressions)
- Child Development Associate certificate or associate's degree in early childhood education
- Willing to complete onboarding training to meet licensing requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous experience as a camp teacher preferred
